Gandys has opened its doors at 66 Neal Street, offering a range of branded items and travel-inspired pieces; including backpacks, waterproof coats, hats and accessories.
Founded by brothers Rob and Paul Forkan, who were orphaned by the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, the brand’s aim is to give back, and it donates 10% of every order to the Gandys Foundation, a programme to aid the educational support of underprivileged children in Sri Lanka, Malawi, Mongolia and more. So far, the Gandys Foundation has raised more than £600,000.
Also involved in the brand is Asos co-founder Nick Robertson, who is chair of Gandys International.
Managing director Natalie Nelson said: "We’re excited to present our new Gandys store where customers can see the collections and learn more about how we support communities around the world through our foundation.”
“We hope this will be a place where our community can connect and be inspired for their next adventure,” she added.
As well as Gandys products, the store also stocks a curated selection of items from small concept brands, such as Nalgene Water Bottles and Cocoon ecological travel towels.
There is also a library area stacked with travel books.
