The feature directorial debut of Alex Scharfman is coming in 2025, and A24 has given us the first trailer for the film about Riley and Elliot, a father/daughter duo who crash into a unicorn with their car and end up taking the mythical creature to a wilderness retreat owned by a wealthy pharmaceutical CEO.
Its first trailer is as whacky as the synopsis suggests, introducing us to the eccentric characters that'll take us on this rollercoaster ride.
Jenna Ortega leads the film as Riley, alongside on-screen father Paul Rudd as Elliot.
Joining them in the cast are Academy Award-nominated Richard E. Grant, two-time BAFTA winner Jessica Hynes, three-time Emmy-nominee Anthony Carrigan, two-time Emmy nominee Will Poulter, and Steve Park.
Rounding out the ensemble are Téa Leoni, Sunita Mani, Nick Wittman, Narantsogt Tsogtsaikhan, and Christine Grace Szarko.
Though the film does not yet have a confirmed release date, A24 shared on the interesting first poster that the film will land in Spring 2025.
