A Florida girl has been arrested for allegedly tricking a man into agreeing to be tied up — because what he thought was a sex game was really a brutal hatchet attack.
Last week, a half-naked man emerged on an Ormond-by-the-Sea roadway dripping with blood desperately trying to flag down ANYONE who could help. A Volusia County Sheriff’s Office arrest affidavit obtained by multiple outlets described “a frantic male with no shirt yelling at cars.” Uhhh, freaky, right? Well, it gets freakier.

When the man finally got in contact with a deputy, he told a SHOCKING story… Apparently, he’d agreed to come to the area with a young woman so she could “tie him up on the beach and have sex with him.” According to him, the young woman picked him up earlier in the evening and drove to the Bicentennial Park where they parked so they could head to the beach on foot. But when they arrived, the victim recalled “getting odd vibes” from the young woman, who remained sitting about five feet away from him. According to the affidavit, she proceeded to tie up his legs, but he got cold feet and tried to back out of it. At that point, he recalled seeing a man dressed in all black approaching the area, which made him understandably terrified.
The victim frantically tried to untie the rope, he recounted, before the young woman jumped on his legs to try and stop him. He was able to wrestle her off and free himself to begin running away — but was chased and tackled down by the man, who began choking him. THEN the woman emerged with what he identified as a hatchet, and started HACKING AT him “all over.”

Somehow, he was able to once again free himself and run to safety, leaving a trail of blood behind. And while he was transported to a hospital for treatment, a local police officer began searching and conducted a traffic stop on a car which allegedly had blood on it. The officer identified the driver as 18-year-old Alana Cagle and the passenger as 24-year-old Wayne Streeter. And according to another officer, all the evidence — including a hatchet sheath, rope, a t-shirt, and a hat were all found on the beach near a trail covered in blood that was “consistent with a male running while bleeding.”
Alana and Wayne were arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. According to police records, Wayne confirmed he and Alana were a couple — but claimed they arrived at the beach separately, and he didn’t know how the victim got there. He claimed he saw the victim push Alana, which is what prompted him to attack, and that he choked the victim out “for her.”

We guess she’s saying she just happened to have a hatchet on hand? And the tied-up guy was the aggressor??
Wayne and Alana have both since posted $5,000 bails, while the victim was treated for several deep lacerations on his back, abdomen, knee, and legs.
We hope the guy makes a full recovery and authorities get to the bottom for this crazy attack!
