Former foes reunite for 'messy' sitcom people aren't sure they should watch

Cynthia Bailey and Nene Leakes are legends of the reality TV world. While Nene is no longer appearing on RHOA these days, Cynthia is still on the show. When the two were both on RHOA, they had their fair share of disagreements but it looks like their friendship is thriving now.

Nene and Cynthia are giving Real Housewives of Atlanta fans all they could wish for as they combine their talents outside of the Bravosphere. First Nene and Kenya Moore reunite at the airport, then Porsha Williams and Phaedra Parkes reignite ‘Frick and Frack’, and now Cynthia and Nene are collabing!

This January, anyone who loves Nene and Cynthia will get to see them back on screen together.

The ladies are starring in The Upshaws on Netflix and the streaming service writes in its X post caption: “The friendship contract is still working its magic.”

While many of us have only seen Nene and Cynthia in a reality TV light, the two are now showcasing their acting abilities.

Many commenters don’t seem to be used to seeing the two in a different realm. Some take to the post to say the show “looks fake” and “scripted,” but that’s because it’s a sitcom and not a reality show.

Some are ‘locked in’ for Nene and Cynthia

While some people seem to be doubting how great of a show Nene and Cynthia’s new gig is, others are totally here for it.

Some take to X (Twitter) to say they’re “locked in” while others pen: “Amazing,” and “Can’t miss it.”

More say Cynthia is “giving the Velvet died” move from RHOA, which people are loving to see, and another writes: “So excited for these two legends to be with the legend Wanda Sykes!”

The Netflix show clip is raking in more praise from people who say: “Outstanding performance,” and “Nene looks and sounds great” in the comments.

Some are convinced the show looks “messy” but others are here for it all, including what they think is a reference to Teresa Giudice’s table flip from RHONJ.
