Former Mets Infielder to Sign With Angels in Free Agency: Report

The Angels agreed to terms on a minor league contract with journeyman infielder J.D. Davis, according to Robert Murray of FanSided.

Davis, 31, is a career .257 hitter in parts of eight seasons (2017-24) with the New York Mets, Yankees, Houston Astros, San Francisco Giants, and Oakland A's.

Free-agent infielder J.D. Davis in agreement with the Los Angeles Angels on a minor-league contract, sources say. Davis gets an invite to spring training.

Last season Davis played 46 games for the A's and Yankees, slashing .218/.293/.338.
