Christmas party season is here and to help us find our best outfit for the festive period, style icon and Loose Women panellist Frankie Bridge has shared her top picks from the high street. It seems the TV star is loving Next with her latest 'Faves' roundup containing pieces from the brand's partywear collection - including a burgundy frock she has dubbed 'the ultimate party dress'.
Costing £68, the Berry Red Satin And Jersey Racer Occasion Midi Dress, described by Frankie as a 'showstopper', is perfect for a fancy soiree. Hailed as seemingly more 'high end', the midi features a dramatic full skirt that oozes elegance and has a satin finish that catches the light. Plus, it comes with a dream detail: pockets.
The top half, contrastingly, is made up of jersey material which is 'soft' and merges style and comfort beautifully. With a high racer-style neckline that mirrors at the back and thin straps, it's a gorgeous style that could be amplified by some gold jewellery and heels.

The dress is available in two shades, berry red and black, but we love the deep burgundy shade as it's a little more festive and adds a subtle pop of colour.

The @favestheedit team spotted this immediately when we visited the @nextofficialpr showroom as it looks so elevated and high end! The burgundy colour is bang on for this festive season and it feels so Christmassy!"
The former singer added how the fit is 'flattering' and sits on the waist 'perfectly' - which is always a win. It also comes in a mini version if you'd like to spruce up your outfit with some polka dot or sparkly tights. Next)We couldn't agree more with Frankie's label of it being the 'ultimate party dress' - and we're not the only one as shortly after sharing her picks on Instagram, fans of the media personality flooded the comments, with one stating: "The fact the first dress has pockets, sold."
Another added: "So beautiful," while a third said: "Can’t get over the first one [the burgundy dress]." Available in regular and tall sizes, the dress hasn't received any negative reviews yet - but the only gripe we can think of is, with thin straps and a racer-style neckline, you'd need to think about the bra situation. Although you could either wear a strapless bra or go in search of one which fits the style easily, like this Alexa Bra from Bravissimo.
