The performer began working as a Disney Mouseketeer in 1993, and Britney rocketed to stardom at 16 years old with her debut single, “…Baby One More Time” and the album of the same name in 1999. For her big comeback, Britney hit the road in 2010 for The Circus Starring Britney Spears world tour. Her 97 shows across the globe would go on to gross nearly $200 million.

After wanting a more settled life, the mom of two debuted her Britney: Piece of Me Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in December 2013. The show ran through December 2017 and grossed $137.6 million. Britney performed 248 shows in total, selling nearly 1 million tickets.

Another source of income for Britney comes from her October 2023 memoir, The Woman in Me. The book topped the New York Times‘ bestseller list upon its release, and it was announced in February 2024 that Universal Pictures bought the rights to turn the book into a feature film about the singer.
