Gary Barlow shared a video working out with his “massive son”.
The Take That singer has unexpectedly sparked an internet meme after he shared a sweet family picture with his daughters and son Daniel, who towered over the rest of his loved ones. Gary reportedly stands at 5ft 8in and Daniel at 6ft 2in, meaning the height difference made the 24-year-old look a lot taller than usual.
Memes have been flooding the internet poking light-hearted fun at Daniel compared to Gary, but Barlow himself joined in on the fun five years earlier. Back in 2019, the Take That singer shared a video on X/Twitter and pointed out Daniel’s height himself.

He wrote: “I love spending time with my kids. Here’s Dan and I having a father and son training session. I’m very proud of my boy & his commitment to his fitness. Don’t look at the difference in weights. Don’t notice that I’m stood a little further forward to make the size gap smaller. Lol.”
The video clip showed Gary wearing an all black ensemble while holding weights in each hand. The former X Factor judge grimaced and grit his teeth while lifting the apparatus while Daniel stood beside him performing the same workout with ease.
Barlow’s son wore a pair of bright red shorts as the duo pumped iron in the back garden. Gary’s fans were quick to rip the Take That singer for his height and jokingly asked whether his mother is “a giant”.
Others quipped “damn” and wondered how tall Daniel was, while someone else urged Barlow to “give up” as his son had clearly “defeated” him.
“You’re so small, I am laughing,” wrote one person as another chimed in: “You look like the shrunk in the wash version of Dan!”
“Wow, look at the size of him,” someone pointed out to the singer.
