Fans look set to finally find out what happened on that fishing trip in Gavin & Stacey.
Bosses are teasing the truth will come out in the final episode on Christmas Day. What went on between Uncle Bryn (Rob Brydon) and Jason West (Robert Wilfort) has been a mystery for years.
A Gavin and Stacey spokesperson said: “Join us on the journey to Barry and Billericay as we catch up with the Shipmans and the Wests for the very last time and maybe find out what exactly did happen on that fishing trip.”

Fans are also keen to see if Smithy (James Corden) accepted the marriage proposal from Nessa (Ruth Jones) after it was left as a cliffhanger when the show last aired in 2019. There is speculation the pair got hitched as the cast have been spotted filming wedding scenes.
The finale will be a 90-minute episode - making it the longest in show history - and is set five years after the last. A raft of details about the plot were released by the BBC last night.
We’ll see the gang reunite in Essex at the home of Pam Shipman (Alison Steadman) and hubby Mick (Larry Lamb).The spokesperson said: “In Barry, Bryn’s packing the Picasso in readiness for a trip to Essex, Stacey and Gavin are looking for new ways to spice up their seventeen year marriage and Gwen is behaving most strangely.

The crew wrapped up filming at Pam and Mick's "Essex" home, which is actually located in South Wales. SHow writer James shared with fans: "Today is our last day in 'Essex'. Everyone in Dinas Powys has been so great to the show and all of you that have come out here today, so thank you very, very much. It means more to us than you will ever know and we really, really hope you like the show."
Co-creator Ruth chimed in: "Thanks so much for being such dedicated fans and for being here every day and watching us even though we were there hid in the house. We hope that you will enjoy our little episode on Christmas Day."
Earlier this year, Ruth and James revealed that the show would return for one more Christmas special. They announced on social media: "Some news... It's official! ! ! We have finished writing the last ever episode of Gavin and Stacey. See you on Christmas Day, BBC One. Love Ruth and James."
