January may have passed, but your healthy eating ambitions need not dwindle.
Recipe creator Bethany, known as Lilsipper on TikTok, divulged her secret to creating the perfect fudge without any added sugar.
Surprisingly, she uses just two ingredients, and one is quite unexpected.
Shunning traditional fudge components like butter, sugar, milk, or cream, Bethany opts for cottage cheese instead.
Her social media post reads: "Don't knock it 'til you try it! I based this recipe off of my greek yogurt fudge, but of course using cottage cheese.
"I used 100% organic unsweetened chocolate which has no sugar - but if you are not used to a sugar free diet, of course you can use sweetened chocolate."
To whip up this treat, all that's required is a trusty blender and some patience while the fudge sets.
Bethany explained: "Did you know if you blend cottage cheese and chocolate you can create two-ingredient cottage cheese fudge."
The video showcasing Bethany's fudge recipe has gone viral, racking up over 915,800 views, with 17,900 likes and 75 comments.
Cottage cheese has been trending as a healthy alternative in various recipes over the last year, sparking debate among food enthusiasts, reports SurreyLive.
One viewer commented: "But if I'm using chocolate I rather eat the chocolate alone lol."
Another said, "Just because you 'can' doesn't mean you 'should'," and Rere wrote, "Fudge should not be wet."
However, Elise disagreed, writing: "I know everybody likes to hate on cottage cheese, but it's literally so good. If you mix it with things, you can't even taste it. I hated cottage cheese until I tried buffalo chicken with cottage cheese."
Cat agreed: "This looks good. Gotta try!!"
