Geordie Shore's Faith Mullen has given fans an update on her love life, after her struggles with alcoholism and finding religion after quitting fame.
The reality star, 24, who joined the MTV show when she was just 19, was axed from the show after one series after joining the cast in 2018. She explained why she left the debauched show, admitting she'd had an altercation with someone on a night out in Newcastle.
Faith only found out she was dropped from season 19 when she saw a promo photo showing the cast - but she was missing and the person she'd had the 'altercation' with was included. Faith went on to turn her back on fame, getting a job as a make up artist and leaving behind drinking and going out in favour of religion.
And now, the troubled star has revealed she has exciting news, as she flashed a sapphire and diamond engagement ring. A series of stunning photos show her and her partner embracing, with another showing a sparkling Christmas tree and a candlelit path.
Faith wrote: "I’m getting my fairytale ending." She added: "'And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony' ~ Colossians 3:14."
Over the past few years, Faith has been open about her struggles with alcohol, revealing she now lives a sober lifestyle and follows Christianity. The star, who returned to Geordie Shore for the 10 year reunion, posted about her journey on Instagram in August 2023.
Sharing a video montage, Faith wrote: "12 months ago today I woke up and knew if I didn't change and get help that day I probably wasn't going to be around much longer. After years of struggling with the amount I was drinking, ruining relationships, friendships, not able to hold down jobs, having my loved ones worried sick, my mental health was in such a dark place I'd be regularly self harming. After therapy, never mind my non existent relationship with God, after years of making excuses, even at my worst I don't think many knew how bad it really got."
She went on: "Even after I had went all the way to the Dominican, been giving this once in a lifetime opportunity by the BBC to change my life, I came home and went straight back to my old ways, not even 48 hours stepping off the flight home I found myself stumbling home after another session."
Faith had a pivotal point in her recovery, revealing that she turned up 'still off her face' to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. She added: "After a few weeks sober, and multiple meetings all over the north east God got me back into the church I'd grew up in, I learnt soon after that my church community was going to work better for me personally, but I do still following the teachings of the AA program to this day."
