We’re entering the second week of discussing Jennifer Aydin’s New Year’s Day meltdown at Jersey Mike’s. All of this could have been avoided if she had just gone to Subway, but the video of the Real Housewives of New Jersey participant made its way across Andy Cohen’s desk. He insisted that Jennifer brought this drama upon herself.
Initially, Jennifer made it clear that she felt like her actions were justified. Hunger apparently makes you do crazy things, and after all, she proudly posted the video thinking her fans would be on her side.
Now that the situation has been haunting her every single day, she’s thinking twice about what happened. Supposedly, she’s fully aware of how her behavior brought her to this point.
Is Jennifer Aydin self-aware?
Andy commented on Jennifer’s viral Jersey Mike’s rant during a recent episode of his radio show on Sirius XM. At the time, he called the whole incident a “self-inflicted” wound for Jennifer.
“How are you gonna cause so much trouble for yourself?” Andy asked his audience. “At Jersey Mike’s?”
In light of Andy’s comments, the on-pause RHONJ star spoke with Us Weekly. She said she didn’t hear Andy’s remarks directly, but of course, she heard it through the grapevine. Perhaps she read our coverage?
“I did not see it. Somebody told me about it. I did not hear that,” Jennifer told the outlet. “But you know what? I would say that’s accurate.”
“I have to realize that me posting it is, in fact, a self-inflicted wound. I did not think it was going to go down that way,” Jen continued. “I thought that people would see the video and be like, ‘How rude was this guy to you?’ And he doesn’t even know you, so it’s fine. It’s all good. Lesson learned.”
Mark this day down in the history books! Jennifer learned her lesson maybe… It only took Andy’s advice, several employees at Jersey Mike’s, and multiple RHONJ cast members to get her to realize it.
