Outlander fans were left stunned after a new behind-the-scenes clip revealed the filming of William Ransom's (portrayed by Charles Vandervaart) daring rescue by his adoptive father Lord John Grey (David Berry) and Young Ian Murray (John Bell). The brief footage showed the actors discussing the scene.
Vandervaart, 24, quipped: "Got a bit bashed up but you should have seen the other guys."
He humorously remarked that William had "seen better days" after being chained up with a bag over his head and a piece of wood in his mouth.
The rising actor lauded his co-star and on-screen father, who sported an eye patch following a brutal beating from Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan), saying: "Lord John looks like a full superhero now with his eye patch."
Meanwhile, Berry, 40, and Bell, 27, disclosed their part in William's rescue.
Berry stated: "He's [Bell] doing to do the talking and I'm going to do the action stuff."
