Gino D'Acampo has spoken out about his ITV future after being accused of 'inappropriate behaviour'.

The Italian, 48, has found himself at the centre of a row after an unnamed woman accused him of improper conduct over a period of five years. The woman who reportedly worked with Gino between 2006 and 2011 lodged a complaint with ITV bosses last week. It was alleged Gino had been 'sidelined' by the broadcaster.

The TV chef is yet to directly address the allegations, however, Gino took to Instagram today to saying he "can't wait" for viewers to watch his ITV show with First Dates, Fred Sirieix, Emission Impossible, in December. Gino teamed up with friend and collaborator Fred for the new series, which sees the pair "attempt to go green".

Sharing a montage of photos of himself and the Frenchman, including one in which Fred sports a wrestling leotard and Gino poses in a pair of shorts and a vest, the celebrity chef posted: "I can’t wait to go back on the road with my French brother @fred_sirieix … Emission Impossible starts on 16th and 17th of December at 9pm on ITV and ITVX… #EmissionImpossible GDx."

Last week it was reported that an unnamed woman decided to make the allegations against Gino public amid a raft of reports against the BBC’s MasterChef presenter, Gregg Wallace, came to light.

A source close to the latest complainant said: “She worked [with Gino] for five years. She has come forward after being spurred on by the Gregg Wallace scandal and the comment he made about his accusers being middle-class women of a certain age,” a source told the Sun.

An ITV source said: “We can’t really comment on anything specific as we have duty of care to any complainant that comes forward”. The Mirror has contacted Gino's reps for comment.

The dad-of-three, who has featured on This Morning, was reported to have been cut from ITV series Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip after allegedly refusing to sign a morality clause in his contract - a provision that requires parties to agree to strict behavioural standards.

Sources told The Sun that while on the set of his latest show with Fred Siriex, Emission Impossible, Gino was accused of flashing crew members, who were reportedly offered counselling. The source told the publication: "Filming was halted and Gino was put on a training course. Some of his humour and antics in 2024 have become increasingly hard to tolerate."

Gino has only appeared on This Morning twice this year and his dating show Cooking Up Love was axed after two episodes. However, he is set to be back on screens with Family Fortunes next year, which has already been filmed.
