Ashley Cain has been left furious over allegations he is flaunting his wealth.
The reality TV star is said to be worth around £3million and took to Instagram to show his latest lavish buy. The former Love Island and Ex on The Beach star held up two sets of keys to his new expensive vehicles - showing off a Lamborghini and Land Rover badge.
The reel on the social media platform also had snaps of Ashley behind the wheels of his sports car, while also showcasing them on the driveway of his home. He uploaded an image of him beaming with joy, while also sharing clips of his motivational speaking and sweet images of his children.
He wrote on his post how the week had been "nothing short of incredible" as he described how he had "added another family wagon to the drive, became the ambassador of one of the biggest activewear brands in the world" and "even found time for a fresh haircut".
Ashley went on to give an inspirational message of his own, saying "there is nothing that compares to home", gushing over the importance of his family. However, fans were quick to criticise the star's post, accusing him of showing off his fortune. One user jibed in the comments section of the 34-year-old's: "Sometimes it’s good to be humble," while another mocked: "Three cheers for Ashley. I can’t even afford my rent".
A third hit out: "Material things in life don’t impress me!!!," and a fourth said: "Showing off again! Why do you feel to the need to post the new range…. What’s that for the kids and the lambo for the hunting!"
Despite many of his followers jumping to his defence and hitting out at the criticism, Ashley felt the urge to slam one commenter himself who accused him of faking his charity work. He passionately penned: "It's so crazy because people like you tried to report me to the likes of the police and the charity commission and got laughed at. All accounts and audits were provided and then posted online publicly for you to view.
"Yet here we are again. Jealousy and envy is a terrible illness and unfortunately you are riddled with it. It's so crazy because people like you tried to report me to the likes of the police and the charity commission and got laughed at. All accounts and audits were provided and then posted online publicly for you to view.
"If I want to put back into the world as I do, that is ok. If I want to also be successful and create an incredible life, that is ok too. Because when I lost everything, the likes of you still used to chat absolute horrible and nasty garbage, so why would I care now. I gave nearly 9 whole months last year to preparing and executing something never done before in this world, suffered severe mental, physical and emotional punishment and nearly lost my life at sea. Raised close to a quarter of a million pounds for children battling cancer and funded it all myself.
"The sacrifices I make you will never understand, so when I want to enjoy myself. I’ll do it properly and unapologetically."
Ashley has raised huge amounts in memory of his baby daughter Azaylia, who sadly passed away in 2021 from a rare form of leukaemia.
