Girlfriends Press 'Mystery Button' in the Toilets on Night Out, Backfires

A viral TikTok video that captures a surprising discovery at a public restroom in Somerset, England, has left viewers online in hysterics.

The short clip, shared to the platform on October 8, 2023, shows two friends turn an ordinary bathroom visit into an unexpected party. The video, posted by TikTok user @rachellkew, has since been liked more than 2.5 million times, with viewers fascinated by the duo's hilarious discovery.

The footage, filmed at a Boom Battle Bar venue, showed the women spotting a mysterious button in the large public restroom. As curiosity got the better of them, they pressed it, triggering an unexpected transformation of the space.

The overhead lights suddenly flicked off, being replaced by neon disco lights that began flashing around the room. The women, visibly ecstatic, jumped up and down, embracing the surprise disco with some dancing on the spot.

An overlaid text in the video read: "POV: [Point of view] You didn't check if anyone else was in the toilets before you pressed the mystery button."

The video is captioned with a playful apology: "Sorry if this was you."
