Is this the end of Gisele Bündchen‘s career as we know it?
Following the news of her surprise pregnancy with jiu jitsu instructor beau Joaquim Valente, the 44-year-old has reportedly decided to halt her modeling career. A close source spoke to TMZ on Thursday and revealed the supermodel shot some projects all the way up into October, which we’ll be seeing in the coming months, but has no plans of going any further until she gives birth to her third child.

There’s no clarity of WHEN Gisele hopes to return to modeling — if at all. It doesn’t sound necessarily like she’s ready to give up her career forever, but she’s not going to step back into the model spotlight until she’s 100% ready, per the source. And who knows how long that will be? Pregnancy and postpartum journeys are different for everyone and every kid, so there’s no way of knowing what’ll go down between now and then!
