Gladiators icon Jet has candidly revealed the reasons behind the collapse of her marriage to Zoe Gilbert.

The 90s pin-up, 54, real name Diane Youdale, claimed that "endless" jealous rows triggered their shocking split, which occurred just two months after they exchanged vows.

The pair had a chance encounter in a Tesco supermarket and their whirlwind led Diane to propose after four months.

Diane and Zoe exchanged vows in July 2023 opting for an intimate wedding ceremony attended by six close friends and family. However, by September 2023, they decided to go their separate ways.

Diane was initially drawn to Zoe's wit and intellect and threw herself wholeheartedly into the partnership. Known for her independence and love for activities, Diane noticed a shift as she began to neglect her usual pursuits.

In a new interview, Diane recalled the events that led to the breakdown of their marriage, claiming Zoe was "insecure" about her previous partners.

The former athlete told The Sun: "She would say 'what about Sonia? What about Lisa? ' These are exes, professionally and personally. I was like, 'I don't go on at you about your past I'm not insecure about that.' But it was endless."

Diane reflected on how swiftly she lost her sense of self within the relationship, stating: "I lost 'me' really quickly. And that is possibly something that I've done in relationships in the past as well.

"What is the point in being with somebody in the now and having a future ahead of you if all you want to do is talk about that person's past?"

An insider confirmed Diane's marriage had come to an end, telling the Daily Mail: "Diane and Zoe just realised it wasn't to be. They didn't see any point carrying on so decided to end their marriage.

"It's sad, especially as they were only married for nearly 18 months, but they just weren't getting on. On reflection, they may have rushed into making their relationship official but there's no regrets or hard feelings between them."

Zoe reportedly asked her to give their romance another try, but things "didn't work" and Diane filed for divorce on their one-year anniversary.

Discussing their wedding with Closer magazine, Diane excitedly revealed: "We're married! We kept it very, very quiet. Literally nine people on the planet knew. We wanted to keep it really tiny."

At the time of her marriage, Diane said she "just knew" Zoe was the one, gushing: "I think you know if you want to be with somebody."
