Valentine’s Day is over a week old, but that hasn’t stopped anyone from pursuing potential love. GloRilla recently broke the internet for shooting her shot at popular streamer Duke Dennis in her latest verse.
The 25-year-old rapper joined Jorjiana on her track “ILBB2,” where the duo raves about their affinity for “bad bi**hes.” In the song’s outro, Big Glo raps, “Uh, uh-huh, they say shooters shoot/ Uh, uh-huh, Duke Dennis, what’s up with you?” The internet went crazy over this line, highlighting how big Dennis has gotten to where rappers mention him in their songs. “Duke Dennis went from a 2K YouTuber to the poster boy for aura,” one fan wrote.
There was one discrepancy though, which the AMP member pointed out when he reacted to the line. Directly before the outro, the Memphis rapper ended her verse with these bars: “Like my ni**as tall and grimy (What else?)/ And mixed with a little bit of ugly.” Dennis, in a recent stream, wanted to clarify if she was referring to him as having those specific characteristics or if her desired traits and her attempt to court him were separate.

“Those two lines are separate right?” Duke Dennis asked. “You wasn’t talking about me—I think there were those ‘uh-uh’ [adlibs] in between for two different people. I don’t know who she was talking about […] Okay, this is why my DMs flooded and everybody’s saying ‘what’s up with you?’ I definitely get it now.” It was unclear whether the streamer was flattered or would pass on the opportunity given his confusion for the line, so time will tell if he gains clarity and if Glorilla will shoot her shot again.
The “TGIF” artist may have had her eyes on him for a little while. Dennis played in the NFL Celebrity Flag Football game over Super Bowl LIX weekend earlier this month and Glo provided commentary alongside Taylor Rooks. His team, Team Kai Cenat, lost on a last-second touchdown by Team Speed’s Quavo, but he could very well become a winner soon if he lands 2024’s hottest woman rapper.
GloRilla has continued the momentum of her career-changing 2024 by maintaining a presence via features. So far, in 2025, she has joined Teddy Swims and Coco Jones on “She Got It” and Lil Baby on “Redbone,” in addition to Jorjiana’s “ILBB2.” Listen to “She Got It” below.
