The 56 year old has been treating his audience to snapshots of his escapades in the vibrant Spanish city, sparking a flurry of chatter about whether his Mediterranean jaunts might be signalling a more permanent move, potentially impacting his appearances on Gogglebox, reports OK!.
A mainstay since 2021, Simon, alongside his sister Jane Minty, has won over fans as part of the dynamic pair. On social media, Simon mused, "Enjoying my time in Barcelona. Spent the day in Sitges which was beautiful, calming, and sunny. Looking at beachfront properties, ready to move here haha. Spent time with friend and local Joan, who is showing me around. Had a fine lunch at La Fuga."

Addressing what some believe to be a 'vanishing act' from Britain, Simon divulged further into his solo adventures in another post: "Disappeared to Barcelona for a few days. Today I visited the Picasso Museum and took a wander, without a plan, to explore. Bought myself leather bracelets and some chocolate milk, traditions I've done since I first came here as a teenager."
