THE GRAMMY Awards were relabelled "the Scammys" by fans after major stars were snubbed from collecting gongs.
The annual event – dubbed 'the Oscars of the music industry' – saw some of the biggest names go head-to-head in the fight for the coveted awards.
Unfortunately, not everyone could be a winner, but fans were shocked when Billie Eilish left completely empty handed.
Billie was up for seven awards across the evening, including the coveted album of the year for her record, Hit Me Hard and Soft.
Her track, Birds of A Feather, was a favorite to win Record of the Year or Song of the Year, with her performing the song on stage with her brother, Finneas, during the ceremony.
However, her hopes of getting acknowledged were dashed when, in the last Grammy honored of the evening, it went to Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter instead.
Billie was seen looking visibly upset as the winner was announced, putting on a brave face and smiling with tears in her eyes.
Notably, it was Beyoncé's first win in the category, having lost herself four times before.
Taylor Swift, who was up for six awards for The Tortured Poets Department, also left with nothing.
Fans were enraged to see the stars go home with nothing, taking to X (formerly Twitter) to slam the decision.
One wrote: "Imagine spending 4 years making an album, learning composition skills to compose an orchestral beginning and ending to an album, getting top in the charts for 8 months straight, having a song that streamed 2 billion times, and winning tears of gloom. Billie got robed."
"BILLIE EILISH DESERVED SOMETHING AT THE GRAMMYS. She literally worked her A** off for this album," said a second.
"f**k the #scammys billie deserved AOTY," noted a third.
Sabrina Carpenter, Willow Smith and Bianca Censori stun in very daring outfits on star-studded Grammys red carpet
"billie you did NOT deserve to be snubbed #Scammys Justice for Hit Me Hard and Soft," said a fourth.
"Taylor and Billie not winning a single Grammy when they both had the best 2 albums of the year is such robbery and scam," said a fifth.
Others noted that Billie's song Birds Of A Feather, was one of the most streamed songs of 2024, so didn't understand how she missed Record of the Year and Song of the Year as well.
Both Record and Song of the Year went to Kendrick Lamar's Not Like Us – a diss track against rapper, Drake, amid their ongoing feud.
In a tough year to compete, Sabrina Carpenter took home two awards for best pop vocal album and pop solo performance for her hit of the summer, Espresso.
Chappell Roan was awarded Best New Artist.
Beyoncé continued to be the most celebrated star in the awards history, taking home Best Country Album and Album of the Year.
The singer was noticeably shocked as she was declared winner of Best Country Album, having to be encouraged by daughter Blue Ivy and husband Jay-Z to get up from her seat as she sat stunned.
Charli XCX, who stormed the industry last year with her album Brat, also took home two awards – one for the album, and one for track Von Dutch.
