Hairy Bikers star Si King has announced he is going on tour following a major career U-turn after his co-star Dave Myers’ death.
The TV chef sadly died at the age of 66 back in February after a lengthy battle with cancer two years after he was diagnosed.
After his passing, the 58-year-old announced that the Hairy Bikers will be coming to an end. The TV chef decided to complete their final cookbook titled Our Family Favourites in his memory.
Now, the TV presenter has announced he will be going on tour across the UK to give fans an insight into the man behind the bike like never before. On Friday (November 8), Si took to Instagram to announce the exciting news online alongside a poster of his tour.
He wrote: “So excited to announce that thanks to such an incredible response to my Newcastle live date. I’m now going to be touring the UK next year and tickets are on sale today from 10am!

"We’re in for plenty of laughs, plenty of chat plus a little bit of music. Should be great fun and I can’t wait to see you all there. Do click the link in bio or type it the old-fashioned way to grab your tickets.
"It’s definitely something to look forward to in 2025! See you there. Si x.” It didn’t take long before fans flooded to the comments to congratulate him on his new embarkment.
One user penned: “Amazing Si King going to be an icon but then you knew that [heart-eyes emoji] Glad life and business is thriving love, miss Dave but life goes on [heart emoji].”
Another agreed: “Oooh very exciting Kingy. I will be there in Edinburgh. Just off to book now [beer emoji].” A third echoed: “Good luck with the show!” It comes after the TV star admitted that the past few months have been a “struggle” following Dave’s death.

In a first-person article for The Sunday Times, he admitted that although he’s been on the verge of “jumping on my bike and heading into the sunset”, he has decided to do “exactly what Dave would have wanted” and move forward.
He went on: “I’ll be honest with you, the past few months have been a struggle. More than once I was on the verge of jumping on my bike and heading into the sunset.
“Not tell anyone where I was going. Just Clear off and never come back. Other times I was raging. Raging at that bloody disease, at God and anything else I could think of.
“People were asking what I was going to do next. The answer is I am going to take some time to reflect on the life I had with my best mate, and think about moving forwards. Which is exactly what Dave would have wanted. Move forward, don’t dwell on the past.”
