The Dunelm sale has gone live today, with up to 75% off homeware, furniture and electrical devices. The homeware retailer is more than a week ahead of the official date of Black Friday 2024, which is November 19.
The early launch makes it easier to focus on the best deals before online shopping is overtaken by brands dropping their prices.
With 30% off, the 2 Tier Heated Airer is reduced from £75 to £49 - and it's been discounted just as the winter cold snap has taken over in the UK.
The airer, which Dunelm states costs from 5p per hour to run, is an investment that could help save money over time. It's an alternative to using tumble dryers, which can be notoriously expensive to run.
The 2 Tier heated airer has 13m of drying space and can hold up to 10kg of washing, plus the tall design is compact and can be neatly folded away when not in use.
Shoppers are leaving their reviews on the heated airer, with one saying: ''Excellent heated airer to dry clothes on a rainy day. It takes about 6hours at 5p per hour to dry a full load. Easy to assemble and folds flat for storage. No need to place items on radiators now and everything is dried in one place. Wish I had thought to buy one ages ago.'' [SIC]
Another added: ''It's Compact, light and really helpful on a rainy day. It dries the clothes quite quickly, but is better if you put each item over two rails to get a better dry.''
However, in a not-so-positive review, a shopper said: ''Folds up well, but doesn't dry as well as others have said in my opinion, needs leaving for hours on end, even with the cover on. Glad I bought it at the sale price." [SIC]
