Matilda Ledger was spotted out in Brooklyn over the weekend, looking strikingly similar to her famous parents.

In photos obtained by Page Six, the 19-year-old daughter of late actor Heath Ledger and actress Michelle Williams enjoyed a casual stroll with her friend in New York City on Sunday, January 12. The duo was photographed sipping coffee and chatting in the Big Apple, Matilda standing out in a green puffer jacket and baggy jeans and red accessories –– appearing in good spirits.

The photos of Matilda come just a week before the anniversary of her father's death, which will mark 15 years since the actor passed away on January 22, 2008.

Matilda was just 2 years old when her father died. The Brokeback Mountain actor's death was ruled an accidental overdose from a combination of prescription drugs, including oxycodone, hydrocodone, and diazepam, which ultimately led to his untimely passing at the age of 28.

The young adult and her mother were last seen together holding hands in July 2024. The photos were seemingly the first time Matilda was photographed with Williams, 44, since she was a child.

In a 2022 interview with Variety, the Blue Valentine actress spoke about the support she received from Succession actor Jeremy Strong after Ledger's tragic death. Williams described how Strong was there for both her and Matilda, helping them navigate their grief during such a difficult time.

"Jeremy was serious enough to hold the weight of a child's broken heart and sensitive enough to understand how to approach her through play and games and silliness," she shared with the outlet. At the time of Ledger's death, Williams and the actor had already separated, with reports indicating they had ended their three-year relationship in September 2007.
