Former Melrose Place star Heather Locklear was spotted looking cool and casual as she helped take care of her mother, Diane, on an outing in the San Fernando Valley earlier this week.

Heather, 68, has not been seen much in public recently, but sources previously told In Touch that the Return of the Swamp Thing star is on the up-and-up after a particularly hard year in 2023.

“Heather’s been through some pretty dark times and of course it’s all been in the public eye which has made it that much tougher. But she’s worked incredibly hard to get back on track, it’s not been easy by any means, but she works at it every single day and has a great circle of people surrounding her and helping her,” an insider shared on July 17.
