Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has thrown her support behind Tulisa Contostavlos as she insists she should be crowned “Queen of the Jungle” in the latest I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! series.
Speaking to The Mirror about her stint in the jungle in 2012, she reveals she’s rooting for the N-Dubz singer, 36, to go all the way. “She’s been through so much”, Helen says, while reflecting on her own experience in the jungle when she was just 22-years-old.
Helen, 34, appeared on I’m A Celeb just months after quitting her role as Rosie Webster on Coronation Street in 2012 to pursue other interests. She briefly returned to the show in 2017 but left on maternity leave in June 2018. “If I’ve learned one thing, it’s that being a team player is everything – something I didn’t quite master back then!”

She returned Down Under for I’m A Celebrity… South Africa! in 2023, leaving on day 12 of the show in joint seventh place.
“I definitely embraced the team spirit more during my second appearance on the show,” she says. “Giving your all to the trials and helping out with chores is really important when it comes to getting on with the other contestants.” Despite admitting she’s not watching the current ITV series, Helen says she’s rooting for her friend Tulisa.
“She’s an amazing girl,” Helen says. “Despite everything she’s been through, she’s come out the other side and she’s doing better than ever. I’d love to see her do really well on the show and ultimately win.”

The actress turned reality star will have her three children by her side this Christmas, a sweet contrast to last year when they spent the holiday with her ex-partner Scott Sinclair.
The couple split in 2022 after a 13-year relationship but have continued to co-parent for the sake of their three children – Matilda, seven, Delilah, five, and Charlie, three. "It’s all about communication and being fair,” Helen says Despite not being on the best of terms, the former couple reunited on Wednesday evening for a festive night out at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.
Helen, who is working with WhichBingo, shared adorable snaps from the night on Instagram, with a picture of Scott grinning with their seven-year-old daughter. Fans were delighted to see the pair reunite after a rocky few years. Their cosy family reunion comes after Helen recently revealed the pair “do each other’s head in” but speaking to the Mirror, she says “it’s all about respect” as they navigate co-parenting. “We’re focused on what matters the most – the kids,” she adds.
