Holiday Baking Championship’s Nancy Fuller takes $3.9m NY farmhouse off the market after struggling to sell property

HOLIDAY Baking Championship host Nancy Fuller has taken her $3.9 million New York farmhouse off the market after struggling to sell the stunning property. 

Nancy, 75, listed her five-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom Upstate New York home on May 21, 2024 for $3,950,000. 

The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal the Dutch farmhouse was taken off the market on November 4, 2024. 

The home, which is featured on Nancy’s Food Network series Farmhouse Rules, has been on and off the market for years. 

Nancy and her husband, David Ginsberg, bought the home in 2002 for $405,500.

The home was first listed for sale on August 1, 2020 for $5,950,000 and removed a week later. 

The house was re-listed on May 4, 2024 for $4,300,000. 

The price of the property was slashed on May 21, 2024, with a new listing price of $3,950,000. 

The listing agent did not respond to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment. 

HOME SWEET HOME

According to the realtor’s listing of Locust Dale Farm, the 6,485 square-foot home sits on 143 acres of “peaceful farmland.”

The home is a “fully and meticulously restored 1766 Dutch home that is fit for modern living.”

The mansion features four wood-burning fireplaces.

Nancy recently added post and beams to modernize the kitchen and living room. 

The property also boasts a two-car garage, original restored outbuildings, brick summer kitchen, stone well, ice house, a reconstructed Dutch barn and more. 

There are stunning views of the creek and the Catskill Mountains. 

Nancy grows soybeans, wheat, corn and more on the property, as her cornfield is 75 acres. 

In 2018, Nancy gave a tour of her kitchen, which features an island, dark wood cabinets, hardwood floors and beams. 

“When you walk into my kitchen, you don’t see a refrigerator. You don’t see a refrigerator because I have under-counter drawers,” Nancy said as she pulled open a drawer to show her fresh vegetables, including eggplant and peppers. 

She then showed off her beehive oven, where she cooks her pies and cakes. 

Nancy has on display her 18th-century antique collection of wood serving bowls and dishes.  

The home dates back to 1766 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. 

“A home is made of memories, and this home has over two centuries of life lived on the farm,” Nancy told Gimme Shelter of her farmhouse. 

“What I love most about my home is the deep history and the passion that it instills within me, year after year, as I become yet another steward of this historic property. 

“Our home is warm and welcoming and has served our huge family well for many years.

"The child that swung on the tree swing for the first time is still swinging 18 years later."

In addition to Farmhouse Rules, the mother of six is a judge on Holiday Baking Championship and Spring Baking Championship.
