Tammin Sursok, known for her role as Dani Sutherland in Home and Away, has traded Summer Bay for Hollywood, starring in a new Christmas film. The 41 year old actress left the popular Australian soap two decades ago and now features in the romantic comedy, Trivia at St Nicks, looking completely different from her time on Home and Away, reports OK!
Fans will recall Tammin's stint on Home and Away, where she played Dani Sutherland from 2000 to 2004. She exited the show at 21 to chase a music career and other acting ventures but is now making a comeback on our screens.

Getty Images)This festive season, Tammin portrays Celeste, an astronomy professor who kindles a romance with football team coordinator Max (played by Brant Daugherty) during the holidays. Despite their initial clash due to his immature behaviour, love soon flourishes as they participate in a Christmas tournament, solidifying their undeniable chemistry.
Tammin is barely recognisable in her new role, sporting long blonde hair, a far cry from her Home and Away days. After leaving the soap, Tammin was signed by Sony BMG Music Entertainment and released her solo album, Whatever Will Be, in May 2005.
In 2006, Tammin shifted her focus to TV and film work, moving from Australia to Los Angeles. She made her movie debut in Aquamarine, playing the character Marjorie.
Her passion for American soaps drew her back, and she landed the role of Colleen in the drama series The Young and The Restless. Three years on, she gained further recognition when she joined Disney Channel's Hannah Montana for eight episodes.

Her most recent accomplishment saw her portray Sarah Corso in Driving By Braille before she returned to Australia to star as Montana Marcel in the rival soap Neighbours in 2022. Her Christmas role in Trivia at St Nicks marks her return to the US.
Off-screen, Tammin has been married to film producer Sean McEwen since 2011 and they have two daughters together. On Instagram, the actress shares adorable family photos and hilarious videos that often leave her 1.3M followers in stitches.
