A man from New Zealand filmed his pet duck, known as Dennis the Menace, taking a "cheap shot" at his canine brother as he let his guard off for a minute, and internet users can't stop laughing at the hilarious video.
The viral TikTok post, shared in November under the username @dennis.the.menace.duck, shows the duck messing with the big senior dog as he tries to go potty, biting him in the back while he is concentrating on his toilet needs. "Dennis takes a cheap shot at Boizy's balls while he was taking a pee," reads layover text in the clip.
After the vicious attack, the pup walked away from the duck keeping his guard high in case the bird decided to strike again, and he sure did try. Newsweek reached out to @dennis.the.menace.duck for comment. We could not verify the details of the case.
Ducks can be wonderful pets if you have the appropriate space to keep them, but looking after them takes more effort and patience than most usual pets.
The Royal Veterinary Collage University of London in England says that, because of their social nature, they should be kept in groups for company. They need a lot of space to roam around freely and an enclosed area to take shelter during bad weather.
Ducks also need access to fresh water, which should be provided daily and be deep enough to submerge their whole body if they want to. The best option is to get a shallow-sided pool with easy access and exit or a ramp.
