Gigi Hadid “offered her support” to ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik after the passing of his former One Direction bandmate Liam Payne.
“Gigi reached out to Zayn to offer her condolences after Liam’s passing,” a source exclusively tells Page Six.
Our insider explains that the model “was there to listen and offered her support if Zayn needed anything at all or just wanted to talk.”
Reps for Hadid and Malik didn’t immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Payne died on Oct. 16 after falling three stories from his room at CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The UK-born singer-songwriter’s former One Direction bandmates were amongst the mourners at his funeral Wednesday in England’s Home Counties.
Malik was joined by Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson for the first time in nearly nine years as they paid their respects to the late singer.
