Squid Game (Season 2): Official trailer

Squid Game fans have spotted something rather unusual.

Netflix viewers noticed a rather obvious filming blunder during one of season two's tense episodes. In one scene, fans saw a cameraman lurking in the background of a shot and couldn't resist taking to social media to point it out.

As the scene played out, the guards opened fire on the contestants and cunning participants played dead. While the guards' guards were down, the players attacked them and swiped their guns.

Netflix viewers could barely tear their eyes away from the screen as the horrifying massacre played out - with some watching a little more intently than others. One of the Squid Game filming crew was spotted in the background during a shot which showed a guard sneaking behind the players.

He tried to shoot them but was instead killed off. Squid Game fans rushed to social media to share the blunder, as one person savagely typed: "Someone is getting fired from the Squid Games team after one of the cameramen was spotted in the background mid episode."

"Had to go watch myself, what a blunder," typed another Netflix streamer as a third person chimed in: "Squid game 2 Episode 7 production error. Look at one of the production team camera man."

The comments kept flooding in, with one reading: "Someone noticed the cameraman caught in this scene of episode 7, around 22 minutes and 38 seconds," and another stating: "Bro is definitely losing his job after that one." One viewer even asked "how did I not notice this" while watching the second series.

Although many viewers enjoyed the sequel instalment to the thriller series, Squid Game season two has been met with much disappointment from fans of the show.

Over on X/Twitter, upset viewers branded the project "underwhelming," "lowkey so messy," "terrible" and even "boring".

One person tweeted: "Just finished watching #SquidGame2 and to sum it up everything was really predictable, no plot twists or anything messy writing, characters and sigh... I expected more after waiting for so long and now we prob have to wait another 3 years? Hmm."
