Hugh Grant shared more insight into his wild night at the Eras Tour alongside Travis Kelce.
The “Love Actually” actor attended one of Taylor Swift’s shows in London over the summer with his daughter but spent most of his evening pounding tequila shots with the NFL star.
While promoting his new film, “Heretic,” Grants told NME that he had a great time at the show — despite “never” enjoying concerts in the past.
“Now that is my cup of tea,” he said with a laugh, noting that his daughter is a huge Swifite.
Grant said he “put out some feelers” to Swift’s team to see if it would be possible to snag tickets to the sold-out show, which was also attended by Tom Cruise, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Liam Hemsworth and more.
“To my astonishment, [Swift and her team] said, ‘Come along,'” he said. “And I thoroughly enjoyed it.”
Grant said his daughter and her friend “went mad” during the concert, “bopping away” to every song.
While the two girls sang their hearts out, the actor found some company in Kelce, who was joined by his older brother, Jason Kelce.
“I hung out with Taylor Swift’s boyfriend who is an American football player,” Grant said. “We did tequila shots in the back of this … hut in the middle of Wembley [Stadium].”
“We got absolutely smashed,” he added.
Despite the fun night, Grant said he and the Kansas City Chiefs star haven’t kept in touch.
After the show, Grant tweeted a thank you to Swift — and Travis — for such a great evening.
“Dear @taylorswift13, You have an incredible show, an amazing and v hospitable team and excellent if gigantic boyfriend (#tequilashots.)” he wrote on X.
“Thanks so much from one ageing London boy, wife and thrilled 8 year old,” the actor added.
The next day, Swift replied to Grant’s tweet, writing, “As a long time Hugh Grant stan this tweet is very important to my culture.”
Grant told NME it was “extremely nice” to hear Swift was a fan of his work.
“[She is] very hospitable and I think it’s a brilliant show,” he told the outlet.
Although Swift had been part of Grant’s fan club for years, Kelce is a recent addition.
During an episode of his “New Heights” podcast earlier this month, the NFL star revealed he watched “Notting Hill” for the first time after meeting the actor.
“I like watching films with people that I’ve met and I know,” Travis told co-host Jason.
“I enjoyed it,” he said of the beloved romcom. “That one is a classic.”
