Hugh Jackman has cancelled a major upcoming job.
The Greatest Showman star was forced to ditch his plans to dazzle fans at a festival gig, leaving many gutted. The star was all set to hit the stage at BST Hyde Park on July 6, but now he's had to cancel the show.
BST Hyde Park shared Hugh's own words of regret: "Due to an unforeseen conflict in my schedule, I am deeply disappointed to announce I will be unable to perform in Hyde Park this July 6th."
He added: "This was a stage I truly was looking forward to being on. No less, in a city that I love so much. Thank you to all people who've purchased tickets."
"For ticket refunds, please go to the link in my bio for more information. London, I will see you soon!"
To sort out the mess, festival bosses have said: "Ticketholders for Hugh Jackman will automatically be refunded in full for tickets purchased through official agents."
Back in November, Hugh was buzzing about the gig, sharing in a video message: "I love Hyde Park in London. This is one of the great parks in the world. I love walking through here. There's only one thing I prefer than walking in Hyde Park in London and that's performing [here] so I'm thinking maybe the summer series next year. [...] Come and join me!" reports the Mirror.
Jackman was set to perform a melody of musical theatre hits to crowds, alongside a live orchestra. His set list was previously teased to fans and was going to include tunes from The Greatest Showman, Les Miserables and The Music Man, as well as "some surprises" for his fans.
