Olympian Bruno Lobo performed an amazing rescue during his latest kite surfing video!
On January 10, the 31-year-old Team Brazil kite sailor was testing out his camera and new equipment when he spotted a woman struggling in the water. Miraculously, the hunky athlete was able to stop and save her! And what’s even more impressive? Because he was filming himself he got the entire rescue on film!

He shared the whole thing on Instagram over the weekend, writing in Portuguese:
“The day that God used me as an instrument to save this young woman, all honor and glory to Him. Stay alert about the danger of the sea, rivers and anywhere you don’t know because the current in some places is usually very strong!”
He said it was around 5:40 p.m. when he took to the sea, and the conditions were “not the best”. It was only when he heard the woman crying out for help did he stop and asked her to “climb on my back”. The Olympian was able to get her to shore safely:
“After sailing a few meters I heard a cry for help and looked at the girl who was drowning, I quickly approached her with the kite, I tried to calm her down and asked to climb on my back, she was quite tired and without strength, I used the equipment to bring her safely to the sand where the lifeguards performed the first aid at the seaside and thanks to God everything went well.”
AH-Mazing!!
