Ben Affleck got a surprise knock on his door over the weekend… But this time it wasn’t Jennifer Lopez.
On Sunday, FBI agents were photographed outside of the Gone Girl actor’s Brentwood, California mansion. Whoa, what?! The FBI?! That’s SERIOUS, right?? Well, maybe not… Or at least not for Ben himself.

On Monday, a rep for the FBI’s press release office told Page Six:
“Members of the FBI‘s Ground Intercept task force are conducting activity in the area of the Palisades Fire relative to unauthorized drone activity.”
“Unauthorized drone activity”?? Like the drones that have been spotted in New Jersey?! Or perhaps someone just trying to get some aerial footage of the Palisades fire? It wasn’t actually made clear, but the FBI noted:
“Agents and our local partners may be visible throughout the area, including at various residences, for this reason.”
Expect a knock, people! See photos of the agents at the A-lister’s house HERE!
A separate source added more clarity on the situation, telling the outlet:
“FBI agents were at Affleck’s home to see if he had CCTV footage of a private drone which damaged a super scooper, one of the firefighting aircrafts.”
Damn. Idiot move! Get your drones out of the sky, people! At least when firefighters are actively trying to contain a disastrous fire! Lives are on the line! You can get more info on that drone case, which occurred late last week, (below):
We’re sure Ben is breathing a sigh of relief FBI agents weren’t lookin for him, specifically. Thoughts? Tell us (below)!
