I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! fans believe they clocked a clue that Danny Jones was going to win the ITV show days before he was crowned King of the Jungle

I'm A Celebrity fans believe they'd worked out that Danny Jones was going to win days before the final.

The McFly rocker was crowned King of the Jungle last weekend, beating Coleen Rooney and Reverend Richard Coles in the final. Sadly for Danny, he was forced to return his jungle crown and sceptre right after winning.

But fans of the ITV show reckon they spotted a clue during Danny's final days in camp suggesting he was always going to win. Some believe he was given more airtime than his co-stars in the lead up to the final.

The 38-year-old got a secret mission involving him trying to hide a number of figurine jungle ranges around camp, making him the focus of the day's events. Viewers took to X before the final to suggest Danny had been given more time on screen.

One fan on X wrote: "look at them giving Danny even more airtime…." A second agreed: "Danny getting 90% of the screen time #ImACeleb"., with a third saying: "Yes. The last couple of eps have made it clear he's way ahead IMO."

Another penned: "He has to be the most obvious winner for many years tbh." A fifth said: "The reason he is getting the screen time is because he’s topping the vote and can’t be caught"

Claiming it was a "fix", one viewer fumed: "How has Coleen not won? Danny is so 'me me me me' Fix." A second agreed: "Coleen will always be my winner. Was fixed for him to win from the start because he is so popular"

Danny won 55.21 per cent of the vote, with runner-up Coleen Rooney scoring 44.79 per cent. Speaking to Ant and Dec after his win, he said: "Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I gave my all in there, it's a lovely feeling to be liked. Thank you so much, I appreciate this so much."

He added: "This is totally insane. I've learned so much about myself, and that's because the campmates were unbelievable."
