Maura Higgins braved an icy camp shower but left viewers in disbelief.
The I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here star donned a black bikini, but it was her unusual choice of an old sock that stole the show. The 34 year old former Love Island star had just faced her arachnophobia in the Bushtucker Trial Fright At The End of The Tunnel.
After reuniting with Jane Moore back at camp, the Love Island star felt the need to wash off the ordeal. As she headed to the wash area, she slipped an old red sock over her hand and started to rinse herself off. Fans were left gobsmacked, taking to Twitter/X to share their reactions.

One user posted a picture of a shocked face, captioning it: "Maura exfoiliting her skin with a dirty sock, having had bugs thrown down at her on a bus, traumatised on a trial and an apple for her birthday for her gift #imaceleb #imacelebrity #IMA2024 #imacelebrity2024."
Another queried: "Maura exfoliated her skin with an old sock - what on earth could've made a sock that rough?" while a third saw the funny side of Maura's predicament: "Spent her birthday being tortured on a bus, got an apple when everyone else got treats, had to do a trial with Jane and now has to exfoliate with a dirty sock. Our Maura is suffering on a biblical level," reports the Mirror.
Before her shower scenes, viewers witnessed Maura hurling "a**hole! " at Jane during a heated Bushtucker Trial. The pair were selected for the task which saw Maura crawling through cages to discover hidden four-letter words on sand-covered signs.
On the other hand, Jane had to navigate an underwater obstacle course to find matching word padlocks that she could unlock with what Maura was relaying to her. However, Maura's accent seemed to cause some confusion when it came to spelling the word 'Boat'.
Despite clearly and loudly spelling it out, Jane struggled to understand the letter "A". As Jane repeatedly questioned what the misunderstood letter was, Maura lost her patience and snapped: "A! For a**hole! " Before the clip aired, Jane's family were quizzed about how their mum would cope.
Her daughters confessed that the Loose Women star "asked for this". Speaking to the Mirror and other press, they said: "She's wanted to do a trial since the beginning. I think she's going to absolutely smash it."
However, they revealed that a water-based trial would have been Jane's least favourite task, adding: "Probably something with water [would be the worst], which happens to be the one we've got her into, but she asked for it."
