Simba is one of the original mattress-in-a-box brands, with a variety of mattresses to suit different sleeping styles. And from now until Halloween, you can save 20% on all mattresses at Simba Sleep. You can also save up to 20% on mattress and bed frame bundles, along with 15% off pillows and duvets.

Simba makes some of the best mattresses tested this year and I consider them to be excellent value for money in terms of performance and durability. I review mattresses for a living, and these are the three mattresses I’d buy in Simba’s 20% off Halloween sale.

If you’re not ready to buy just yet, remember that this year’s Black Friday mattress deals and sales are just around the corner, and based on last year’s sales, we’re expecting some big reductions from Simba. If you can hold off, we reckon you’re best doing so. If not though, let’s take a look at the best sales you can get right now. 3 mattresses I'd buy in Simba's 20% off sale

Is right now a good time to buy a new mattress?

20% off is a generous discount and is worth considering if you need a mattress right now. However, Black Friday is almost upon us - hitting at the end of November. Last year Simba offered a huge discount of 45% on its best mattresses including the three mattresses we’ve recommended here. Based on this history, we think it's likely you could get a much bigger saving by waiting a few weeks.

This brought a double Simba Hybrid mattress down to £439.45, which is a much bigger saving compared to the £647.19 it's available for now. The luxury Simba Hybrid Luxe was available from £659.45 - that’s an over £300 saving from the current price. There were also big savings on kids mattresses, bed bases, pillows and more

Jo Plumridge is an experienced mattress reviewer with several years' experience covering all things mattresses and sleep, and who tests memory foam, hybrid and organic mattresses. What Jo doesn't know about a boxed mattress isn't worth knowing, so naturally we tasked her with producing a series of features for Tom's Guide looking at all aspects of mattresses, from how to pick between latex and memory foam (it's a tricky one), to the seven mistakes people make when buying a mattress for the first time. When testing the DreamCloud Luxury Hybrid for Tom's Guide, Jo said: "I loved the back support and pressure relief it offered. Plus, it looks far more expensive than it is." When she isn’t writing about sleep, Jo also writes extensively on interior design, home products and photography.
