Commenting on the mouth-watering launch, Louise Pilkington, innovation expert at Domino's, shared: "This year at Domino's we're all about abundance, we want to make sure there's something for everyone on the festive table."

"We're cheese aficionados at Domino's and can't wait to deliver piping Hot and Cheesy dips across the country, will you dip or dunk your dough? We want to know!"

The Express writer Sophie Harris sampled the new treats on the menu - and here's everything that she found.

Mac and cheese

Diving into the taste fest, the Mac n Cheese was first up, billing itself as a snug bowl of pasta brimming with mature cheddar, red Leicester, and mozzarella.

It did not disappoint – with banging flavour, ample sauce and a satisfying crunchy cheese crust, this side had Sophie coming back for more until it vanished.

Dominos Christmas food

The Domino's Christmas menu for 2024 has just launched

Hot and Cheesy Dip with Twisted Doughballs

Sophie said this dish reminded her of a camembert you'd buy and bake, which you don't often see on takeaway menus.

She noted: "It was tasty and the twisted doughballs are always a favourite in my house but the cheese was a little runny to actually stick to the doughball.

"It didn’t have a strong flavour unless you soaked the doughball but it was tasty and definitely reminded me of Christmas."

Score: 6/10

The Festive One pizza

This pizza was adorned with festive trimmings including turkey breast, Cumberland sausage, crispy smoked bacon, red onions and cranberry sauce, along with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese.

Despite being wary of cranberry sauce on these kinds of dishes, Sophie thought this paired perfectly with the pizza, and that it would actually be missing something if it didn't have it.

She said: "All of the toppings worked so well together and tasted incredible, with the sage and onion marinated turkey super moist, the bacon adding a hint of saltiness and the cranberry sauce adding the perfect amount of sweetness to the dish."

Festive loaded fries

The Loaded Fries were delicious, according to Sophie

Festive Loaded Fries

The Festive Loaded Fries feature fries with cheese sauce and melted mozzarella topped with pulled sage and onion turkey breast, smoked bacon and cranberry drizzle.

The side dish, similar to the mac n cheese, was a hit with Sophie and again she kept coming back until it was all gone.

She said: "I would have preferred the fries to be slightly crispier to hold the cheese sauce better but I could still pick them up without them breaking apart."

Score: 8/10

Festive Wrap

Making its debut in 2024 is the Festive Wrap. It's a folded tortilla wrap filled with sage and onion turkey breast, red onion, mozzarella cheese and cheese sauce.

This was Sophie's least favourite item on the menu due to the lack of cranberry sauce. She said: "I’d have thought this would be my favourite due to no cranberry sauce but it needed something to balance the flavours and take the edge off.

"It was tasty and had a good amount of filling so if you really despise cranberry sauce, this could be a good option for you."

Score: 5/10

Twisted Doughballs with Chocolate

The Twisted Doughballs with Chocolate were the perfect end to Sophie's meal and her favourite dessert option from Domino's, except for the cookies. They were fluffy doughballs covered in melted chocolate and topped with crunchy OREO crumbs.

She raved: "I absolutely loved how the OREO crumb wasn’t soggy, and the savoury doughballs worked brilliantly with the chocolate for a non-sickly but delicious pudding."

Score: 10/10

The food items can be ordered online, through the Domino's app or from your local store from November 11 until January 2.
