The latest game update includes two Ice Spice skins and accessories available.
Ice Spice showcased her gaming prowess over the weekend as she went up against Lil Yachty in a Fortnite battle.
Lil Boat and the Bronx rapstress shared a clip on their Instagram Stories showing her playing as her very own in-game character—sporting a red bow, shorts, white tee and glasses.
The fun moment between the rappers sparked a mix of reactions on social media, with some fans praising Ice for her gaming skills, others offering her tips, and some urging Lil Yachty to “save” Ice Spice’s perceived “flopping” career.
“The Ice Spice Aura Fall Off Need to be studied,” remarked one person as another wrote, “If anyone can save her career rn, it’s Yachty.”
Ice Spice entered Fortnite’s virtual universe on Nov. 14, 2024 as part of the Chapter 2 DLC package, alongside others like Eminem, Juice WRLD and Snoop Dogg. The rapper brought her distinct style to the game with her signature ginger hair, Y2K fashion, ad-libs and moves.
“Getting the chance to come to the game and remix the Chapter 2 map is unreal,” Ice stated in press release via Epic Games. “It’s exciting to be a part of something so iconic, and I can’t wait for players to experience this new vibe. Fortnite is all about creativity and connection, and I’m hyped to bring my own spin to it!”
Sharing a promo clip on her instagram, she wrote: “Get a taste of ice isle with the new @fortnite update! live now.”
Fans eager to play the game as Ice Spice can grab her Fortnite skins in the Item Shop. Two different versions of the “Princess Diana” rhymer are available in “Ice Spice” and “Rap Princess Ice Spice,” for 1,500 V-Bucks each. The Ice Bundle, priced at 2,800 V-Bucks, offers both skins, exclusive back blings, her microphone and signature emotes.
Ice has seemingly taken a step back from releasing music since dropping her debut album Y2K! last Summer and its deluxe I’m Just A Girl on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24). The 16-track deluxe received much criticism after selling only 4,800 copies in its first week. The original Y2K! album sold 28,000 units in its first week and featured hit singles “Think U The Sh*t (Fart)” and “BB Belt.”
Ice also embarked on her first headlining tour in support of her album last year, which kicked off July 4 in North America and Europe before concluding in Australia on Jan. 5 of this year. Ice completed a total of 39 shows along with Cash Cobain.
