Spice Girls star Mel B, whose real name is Melanie Janine Brown, has left the glamourous world of Hollywood behind and opted for a quieter life in the Yorkshire Dales.
The 49-year-old, who is part of the new Netflix series Celebrity Bear Hunt, purchased a £2.2million farmhouse in Yorkshire last year, set within the sprawling countryside, not far from where she grew up, after leaving the US, reports Mail Online. Mel lives in the stunning abode, boasting five bedrooms and five bathrooms, with her fiancée Rory McPhee and her youngest daughters, Angel, 17, and Madison, 13, - she is also a mum to daughter Phoenix, 25.
Inside the home, they have stoned paved flooring, wooden beams, open fireplaces and an open-planned kitchen with a huge double oven and dining table nearby. It also has a one-bedroom annex - perfect for when family stay - along with a detached office and double garage.
Outside, they can enjoy warmer weather in their picturesque enclosed-wall garden with an ornamental pond. They also have acres of nearby land to explore, with breathtaking views across the hills and a reservoir.

They are also said to have two paddocks, where Mel cares for her livestock, which is bordering the country woodland. Treated to even more of the great British countryside, their home is also located near the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
According to the Mail Online, her neighbours have welcomed her with open arms as one said, "I hope she's really happy here, she's been through a lot in her life and she deserves to be happy after all the pleasure she's given to other people. It's a lovely place to live and she'll find the locals are dead friendly if she pops into the pubs while she's out walking the dogs."
Mel previously gave a glimpse inside her countryside lifestyle as she shared a post last summer which read, "On Sundays we hug trees, spend time with the animals and have a Sunday dinner." In another post she said, "Me and the animals .. days at the farm, always havin' a good laugh - it's the simple things sometimes and I luvvvv playing with them soooo muchhh."
The Spice Girls star has been open about the end of her turbulent divorce from film producer Stephen Belafonte and announced in February last year that she had secured the new Yorkshire home amid finding financial independence. She shared in a lengthy post, "I'm soooo overwhelmed right now. Sitting here with my 3 dogs not really able to speak but something has happened to me a few mins ago which is HUGE!!!

They are the keys to my new home. A house I bought with the money I've worked bloody hard to pay for. It's taken me 5+ yrs to be able to do this."
"I share this coz it takes a LONG LONG time to deal with the trauma when you've been left financially at ground zero and everything nice you had was gone." She ended the post with, "This will be my happy home, I'm thinking about my dad, I'm thinking about my kids, and I'm thinking about all those survivors out there - you CAN reclaim your power. Trust and believe."
