However, they parted ways after six years following allegations of Ben's infidelity. Gossip started circulating while Una was expecting their second child. At the time, the couple had plans to relocate to the States after Ben signed for Rugby United New York.
Ben confessed to infidelity but later stated in an interview with The Guardian: "At the moment anything that's published about me is never very good and pretty rightly so, because I was the one who committed adultery. But at the same time, it wasn't the only reason for our divorce to go through."
In a subsequent conversation on the Taboo Talk podcast, Una revealed that after Ben acknowledged the accusations of cheating, the couple jointly decided to get a divorce swiftly. She expressed: "We needed to split up and to divorce because we couldn't stay together. [But] you always see the couples and the families and everything and you just feel so lonely cause like that's not you anymore."
Una shared that once they made the decision to divorce, both parties felt a sense of relief since issues had been building up over time. Following the divorce, Una relocated with her two children, Aoife and Tadhg, due to feelings of embarrassment about being seen in public after what had transpired.

Una confessed: "I felt embarrassed in the town that I was in, that's why I moved. I felt embarrassed that when I went to the shop, that everybody was looking at me going, 'Oh there she is'". Ben has carved out a new life across the pond in the US, working in real estate.
He tied the knot again in 2019 with his new wife Jackie and theyve welcomed more kids into the fold. Despite having an ocean between them, Ben and his ex-wife Una continue their commitment to co-parenting their brood.
Ben shared with OK!: "We've been co-parenting for the last five years and I think we're pretty good at it now. Me having another baby won't change anything and I appreciate how much she takes the reins with Aoife and Tadgh. For us, it's all about communication and I think she also appreciates the reprieve we give her when the kids visit for a few weeks during the summer and at Christmas."
In contrast, Una's romantic escapades have kept the tabloids buzzing post-divorce. Shes chatted openly about dabbling in the elite dating world of Raya, sparking whispers of a fling with ex-boxer David Haye.
Una also had a relationship with one-time Limerick hurling ace David Breen, but that chapter closed in 2020. Then, murmurs emerged of her calling time on a liaison with ex-Love Island contestant Stephen Mullan in 2022.She recently debuted her romance with retired Irish jockey Aidan Coleman by stepping out together, but according to the Irish Mirror, they've called it quits since.
