Little Mix
Little Mix shot to fame after winning the English iteration of X-Factor in 2011.
Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall came together in 2011 and soon became one of the world's best-selling girl groups, with hits such as Wings and Shout Out to my Ex.
In 2020, after nine years, Nelson revealed her shock decision to leave the band at the height of its success, revealing she was "unhappy" and was suffering from poor mental health.
"I need to spend time with the people I love, doing things that make me happy," she explained on Instagram.
The three remaining members claimed at the time that they were "still very much enjoying" being in Little Mix and had no plans to officially disband.
Drama then ensued when Nelson's friend Nicki Minaj accused her former bandmates of being "jealous" of her solo career.
Nelson also spoke openly about the toll online trolling and bullying took on her in the band, revealing she always felt like she was negatively compared to the other girls.
"We're not talking anymore," Nelson told the Graham Norton Show in 2021.
"It is sad, but honestly there is no bad blood from my side. I still love them to pieces and genuinely wish them all the best.
"I loved my time with them, and we've got the most incredible memories together, but it's just one of those things which needs to take time, so who knows. To me, they are still the sickest girl band in the world."
However, Nelson has recently revealed more context behind her icy exit from the girl group...

Little Mix
In May 2022, Little Mix officially disbanded after announcing an indefinite hiatus.
Since then, the remaining members, Edwards, Thirlwall and Pinnock, have gone their separate artistic ways with no solo music on the horizon as of yet.
As for Nelson, she has recently released her second single Bad Thing and is apparently working on a solo album.
While promoting the new single, Nelson revealed she hasn't spoken to her former bandmates in two years.
"I don't have any regrets because I had to do what was right for me and I will always cherish the memories I had in Little Mix," Nelson said talking to The Sun.
"So no, we haven't talked since then. Never say never, but I honestly wish them the best on their solo journeys now, which is so exciting."

Girls Aloud
British pop girl group Girls Aloud found fame on the UK television series Popstars: The Rival.
The group comprised of Kimberley Walsh, Cheryl (known as Cheryl Cole at the time), Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts and they enjoyed huge success with 20 number one singles until they disbanded in 2013.
After their split, the real feuding began. Their battle for the best solo career ended in chaos.
After the shock break-up, Coyle took to Twitter and revealed she had no part in their split.
"You should know by now I had no part in any of this split business. I couldn't stop them. I had the best time & want to keep going. Xxxx," she wrote.
Talent show veteran Louis Walsh, who helped form Girls Aloud 20 years ago, made an astonishing confession about the girl group.
Speaking on White Wine Question Time, Walsh admitted he never wanted to form a girl band and instead was hoping to help coach male singes.
"I thought I was going to get a boy band – I was convinced. And they gave me the girls. I didn't want them," Walsh said.
"Girls don't like each other in bands – it's very simple. They all want to be the lead girl."
Walsh also took aim at all girl group members, claiming their sole ambition is to become a "WAG".
"They all want to go out with the footballer. They all want to be the skinniest," he added.

Fifth Harmony
Fifth Harmony was founded in 2012 after all five members auditioned solo for the X Factor and were put together in a group.
The all-girl group comprised Camila Cabello, Ally Brooke, Normani, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui until Cabello's shock departure in 2015.
Fifth Harmony released a blunt, telling statement after her exit, writing: "After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her well."
Cabello later refuted claims she told them of her departure through her reps, slamming it as "just not true".
Responding to Cabello in a tweet, the remaining members said they were "truly hurt" by her decision to leave.
"We were truly hurt," the group said..
"We've been together for almost five years, been through ups and downs... While this isn't the way any of us would have wanted this chapter in our lives to have ended, we have to begin to formulate a plan and constructive path for Fifth Harmony to move forward, beyond Camila. We truly support anyone's decision to do what makes them happy and to that end we do wish Camila all the best, although we are saddened by the way she and her team handled the situation."
The 'Havana' singer embarked on a successful solo career, churning out smash hits and reaching mega-stardom after her romance with fellow singer Shawn Mendes.
In her upcoming album Familia, the Cuban singer addressed claims of a feud between the members of Fifth Harmony.
"I don't blame the girls for how it went down," Cabello sings in the track 'Psychofreak'.
Cabello confirmed the lyrics were a reference to her departure from Fifth Harmony in an interview with Reuters.
"That song is basically about anxiety and all of the different things that have made up like my journey with anxiety and starting off really young in the industry," she said.

Atomic Kitten
Atomic Kitten band members Kerry Katona, Natasha Hamilton and Liz McClaron were the famous faces behind the classic '90s hit 'Whole Again'.
The girl band rose to fame in 1998 and first broke up in 2004, before a later reunion in 2018 which saw even more feuds and in-fighting.
The drama included verbal mud-slinging and literal physical violence, including stamping on each other's feet on-stage.
Kerry recently wrote in her New magazine column: "I remember some of the fights we had in Atomic Kitten back in the day. Once, Liz punched me from behind after we had a little row. I was furious and got my own back.
"I made her get changed in the toilets at SMTV Live, then I stamped on her feet while we were up on stage singing 'Whole Again'."
Katona first left the band in 2001 after falling pregnant with her first child with then-husband Brian McFadden.
She was replaced with Jenny Frost, who once made the explosive claim she'd "rather eat her own kidney with a spoon than work with Kerry".
The girls reunited on stage in 2013 for ITV's Big Reunion, where Frost claimed the trio could never be a foursome.
"I don't want to be derogatory about Kerry, but there shouldn't be four of us in Atomic Kitten," she said.
But in the end, Katona was the one who was chosen in the band's final line-up for the reunion.
Frost told Closer magazine: "I'm not in contact with them anymore, which I think is a real shame. But I didn't like how things were handled with the reunion and Kerry replacing me."

The Pussycat Dolls
The Pussycat Dolls were both a dance troupe and girl band which began in the 1990s as a burlesque ensemble.
In 2003, the group was turned into a music franchise with Nicole Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton and Kimberly Wyatt all founding members of the famous group.
Things turned sour during the height of their success between Schersinger and Thornton, who were reportedly locked in a feud that tore the band apart.
Thornton revealed in 2019 that she suffered panic attacks and needed secret therapy during her time in the band, adding she felt "worthless" at some points.
"I lost so much confidence and felt really worthless. Because it was pointed out, over and over again, that I was the weakest link in the group," she told The Mirror.
"And when you're told, over and over again, 'you're worthless in this group', it's amazing how it affects you mentally.
"I started having panic attacks when I was in the group, on planes and random places. It was obvious my body was saying, 'let's stop doing this'."
Unearthed clips of the band performing in the noughties also triggered theories Scherzinger caused friction due to her desire to be the lead singer of the band.

Spice Girls
They were arguably the biggest girl band in the world and sang about friendship never ending — but even the Spice Girls weren't immune to petty feuds at the height of their fame.
In a 2020 interview with People, Scary Spice Mel B admitted she was almost kicked out of the band in 1996 after a fight with Victoria Beckham, AKA Posh Spice.
"We had a few drinks, and we were all probably a bit tipsy, and I told Victoria where to go," she told the publication.
"It wasn't even in front of anyone — I think we were leaving and getting into our car. But it was a big deal at the time, and I got into lots of trouble. People were concerned."
Mel B also once admitted she had secret feuds with Sporty Spice Mel C.
"We fight, we argue, we make up... it's always been like that. It's been like that with all five of us over the years," she once told The Mirror.
"I've had punch-ups with Mel C in the past. But we have unconditional love for each other underneath it all."

All Saints
English-Canadian girl group All Saints were a huge hit in the 1990s.
Members Natalie Appleton, Nicole Appleton, Melanie Blatt and Shaznay Lewis enjoyed huge success with their hit 'Never Ever', but with that fame came drama and feuding.
The group split in 2001, and Blatt once admitted they "just weren't really getting on any more and we kind of hated each other so we just thought, 'F--k it, let's stop'."
'We didn't do it for the money," she said.
"We didn't carry on for the money like some bands, even though they hated each other."
All Saints also had a brief feud with rival pop group Girls Aloud, when singer Cheryl Cole claimed their single 'Rock Steady' sounded a lot like her band.

Bardot
Formed on the reality series Popstars, Aussie girl group Bardot comprised of Belinda Chapple, Sophie Monk, Sally Polihronas, Katie Underwood and Tiffani Wood.
After forming in 1999, the band made the shock decision to split in 2001 — after only a short time in the spotlight.
Underwood had left the group to join the cast of Hair, a move that caused bitter friction between the women.
After there was word of a 20-year reunion, rumours also surfaced about a longstanding feud between Monk and Wood.
It was claimed the Love Island host was trying to distance herself from Bardot and had no interest in reuniting with he band.
Wood told the Courier Mail in 2020: "Sophie doesn't like the association with Bardot. Anything that's tagged with Bardot on her page she deletes."
"A fan pointed that out to me, I've been blocked by Sophie on Instagram, so I used another profile and had a look and she's deleted most references to Bardot, which is where she came from."
However, it appears Monk and Wood rekindled their friendship soon after, re-following eachother on social media amid reports of a secret fight.
