Insiders Reveal Whether Dave Grohl's Wife Is Planning to Divorce Him After His Secret Baby

Dave Grohl‘s wife Jordyn Blum is taking her time figuring out her next move after the Foo Fighters frontman’s announcement that he fathered a baby outside of their marriage.

A little over a month after Grohl revealed the shocking news via an Instagram post, insiders talked to People about how Blum is navigating the situation while prioritizing their daughters Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.

A source told People that Blum “doesn’t want to make any hasty decisions, since it’s all affecting their girls.” The source added, “She’s still unhappy and not wearing her wedding ring, but things have calmed down. She’s leaning on friends.”

For Grohl’s part, the musician initially met with a divorce attorney prior to making his announcement. However, a source told People on Nov. 1 that Grohl is “no longer working with a divorce attorney and instead hoping to work things out with his wife.”

“Dave’s been prioritizing his family,” another source said. “He knows he messed up. It’s one of those situations where you don’t realize what you have until you’re about to lose it. He doesn’t want to lose his family.”

On Sept. 10, Grohl made headlines after posting a statement on Instagram revealing that he “recently became a father of a new baby daughter born outside my marriage.”

“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” he wrote. “We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”

It was reported that Blum had “known for a while” about the baby and was focused on healing privately. She has not addressed the situation publicly.
