Instagram has added Easter eggs and Halloween-themed features, such as Stories templates, a Halloween fonts, and keyword-triggered animations in direct messages. Through November 3, users will be able to engage, share, and create with joy with these eerie enhancements, which feature animated effects, secret phrases, and AI-powered costumes.
To help you have fun and stay in touch with friends over Halloween, Instagram, a meta-owned video and picture-sharing network, has begun to roll out a number of Halloween Easter eggs throughout the app. The following Easter eggs will be available on the app until November 3:

Secret Phrases in DMs and Notes: The new Instagram update brings Secret Halloween-themed phrases, such as “Happy Halloween,” “Trick-or-treat,” and “spooky emojis,” may cause amusing effects and animations in notes and direct messages.

Add Yours Templates: The limited-edition Halloween templates are located in the “Happy Halloween” area of the new Add Yours Templates Discovery Surface in Stories. These five personalised Halloween Add Yours Templates (AYTs) will help you keep up to date with Halloween trends and have fun with friends.

Imagine Yourself as: In your Stories, use Meta AI’s Imagine capabilities to see yourself as a vampire or anything else that makes you feel spooky. Sharing your AI-generated costumes is simple, allowing your friends to view them and create their own.
New Font + Effect: You may express yourself while enjoying Halloween on Stories, Feed, and Reels with the assistance of a brand-new Halloween-themed font named “Halloween” and text effect called “Haunted.”
Chat Theme: You can (pumpkin)spice up your direct messages by using a Halloween-themed chat theme for DMs and Instagram broadcast channels.
