Internet Can't Cope With 'World's Strongest 16-Month-Old'

Social media viewers were left stunned after seeing the strength of a 16-month-old toddler.

In a TikTok clip posted by Christie Elliott (@ellazcj), his daughter toddles over to a 4-pint milk bottle (half a gallon) left by the front door, picks it up with one hand and carries it to her mom, Kate Elliott.

Christie, 34, told Newsweek that he normally brings the grocery bags to the door and that one day his daughter tried to help by carrying some of the lighter items, going back and forth to the kitchen.

On the day of the video, Christie and Kate left the bags by the door—and they weren't prepared for what happened next.

"We didn't expect her to go and pick up then milk and bring it to [her] mom. That's why we found it so funny she could pick something up of that weight," Christie, 34, said.

He captioned the clip: "World's strongest 16 month old baby helping with the shopping."

The parents both admitted that while their daughter had shown signs of strength in the past, this moment was a shock.

"She has shown signs where we thought, Wow, she's strong. But [we] did not expect her to be able to carry that milk at 16 months," he said.

The toddler almost toppled over from the weight of the milk bottle, and her parents' reaction was priceless: "We both just started laughing to each other, thinking, How is that possible? We just looked at each other like, What is going on?," Christie said.

While carrying the hefty bottle, the little helper makes the clip even more adorable, saying "Mama" at the end. Kate can be heard saying "Thank you" as she laughs at her toddler's efforts.

Christie's video has been viewed 148,000 times and received dozens of comments from viewers who were as stunned and amused as the parents.

"They always take the heaviest things to their size," one user wrote, laughing.

"She'll be in the gym next week!" wrote another.

"She is officially more helpful than my 20 year old fyi," a third joked.

Christie and Kate said they'd received from viewers "a lot of nice, funny comments saying how cute [and] strong she is being able to do that. A lot of likes and shares."
