The HGTV star had fans turning heads recently when she made an Instagram post featuring a mystery man. In the caption, she wished Jared Merrell a happy birthday — with a super cuddly pic posted alongside it! She wrote:

“Happy Birthday to my brother from another mother. @jaredjstar25 Thank you for ALWAYS being such a great friend. Love you and your family so much. So happy to be celebrating you all weekend!”

Of course, “brother from another mother” and “great friend” seems to explain the situation, but some fans weren’t convinced right away and believed this was a hard launch. In the comments, social media users theorized about their relationship:

“Omg! Not another husband.”

“Thought this was husband number 4 for a second there”

“Lmao! I first thought she was introducing us to a new boyfrined! I was like damn girl slow down!!”

It didn’t take long to figure out this isn’t actually the Christina on the Coast star’s new man, though. If the caption wasn’t enough, Jared has posted his longtime wife Maris on his page many times. So it looks like the 41-year-old isn’t moved on from her ex just yet, after all.
