Meri Brown rose to reality TV fame alongside her former spiritual partner Kody Brown and past Sister Wives Janelle, Robyn and Christine Brown. Who Did Sister Wives’ Meri Brown Date After Kody Split?
While ringing in her 53rd birthday in January 2024, Meri hard launched her relationship with boyfriend Amos Andrews.
“Birthday is looking a bit different for me this year, and might I say, I like how it looks,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “Meet Amos, the good looking guy I’ve been dating since October! He’s not 6 foot 6, nor is he a pilot, but he loves Christmas almost as much as I do, and we laugh a lot together, both of which are important elements to a relationship!”
Meri explained that she was keeping the relationship private because they were “enjoying the last few months of dating and getting to know each other.”
Weeks after going Instagram official, Amos appeared on Meri’s “Friday’s With Friends” Instagram series and shared how different their lives are. During the conversation, Amos admitted that Meri’s reality TV history was an initial “red flag” for him.
“I think it was the second time we talked [that I told him],” Meri further explained. “He was like, ‘Yeah, I’m a really private person.’ I’m like, ‘Really?’ He’s like, ‘Yeah. I’m not on social media. I’m a really private person. I don’t let a lot of people into my life.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, so how private are you really?’”
In February 2024, Meri announced that she and Amos called it quits after four months of dating.
“Last week, I had to face some hard truths and have some difficult conversations. Just because I care a lot about someone, and him me, does not equate to full compatibility for a long-term relationship,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “When we have different dreams and aspirations, different communication styles and values, different visions for our futures, and these things aren’t aligning, it’s then that we need to make hard decisions.”

Meri confirmed she and Kody ended their 32-year relationship during a sneak peek of the Sister Wives: One on One tell-all in December 2022.
“It just doesn’t make sense to me that he would be so frustrated with Christine [Brown] and be like, ‘She just made this decision,’” Meri said in the clip of Kody and Christine’s then-recent split, obtained by People. “We didn’t consult, we didn’t talk, she just made the decision and then he says, ‘No, I don’t consider myself married to Meri. Like, he just made the decision. I’ve never heard him say that to me.”
Meri and Kody broke their silence the following month via Instagram, and she made it clear that she did not approve of the trailer, claiming they split after filming the special.
“There is so much more to be told about this story, and I assure you, my truth will be told. But for now, know that there is peace in my heart, and I hold no animosity toward Kody,” Meri wrote. “I am not, and pray that I never will be, in a place where I will enjoy making, or seeing you make, rude and demeaning comments about him.”
Meri and Kody legally divorced in 2014 so he could marry Robyn, but they remained spiritually married. During an October 2024 episode of Sister Wives, Meri was granted a “release” of her spiritual marriage with Kody.
The pair share one child together, Leon Brown.
