Chaos erupted in the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here camp after a fire broke out and another campmate disappeared.
Viewers were thrilled tonight (November 26) as fresh faces took on a Bushtucker trial after Radio 1's Dean McCullough previously endured a whopping five trials. The spotlight shifted as Love Island favourite Maura Higgins and journalist Jane Moore were chosen by the public to embark on the nerve-racking 'Fright at the End of the Tunnel' trial.
During this tense task, one was tasked with crawling through darkness to retrieve secret codes while their partner, submerged in water, had to use these codes to collect stars.
But while Maura and Jane concentrated on racking up the stars, back in camp, pandemonium reigned supreme. Camp latecomer, Reverend Richard Coles, decided to dry his socks over the fire, leading to an unexpected blaze when he momentarily looked away and they set alight.
McFly's Danny Jones and Corrie's Alan Halsall were seen brandishing the charred remnants, eliciting laughter among the celebrities, reports OK!
Danny found humour in the mishap, quipping: "Reverend Richard's socks were blowing holy smoke across the jungle!"
.However, the misadventure didn't end there; in the same episode aired on Tuesday (November 26), viewers were left hanging as one celeb seemed to vanish from sight.
Tulisa, now tasked with the camp washing-up duties found an unlikely helper in Barry McGuigan. The former boxing champ offered to assist by transporting some kitchenware to the creek. However, as an eager Barry raced ahead, Tulisa arrived at the stream to find him missing.
Confused, she called out: "Barry...Barry? Where's he gone?". After persistent shouts, Barry finally emerged from the dense jungle shrubbery, looking bewildered, prompting Tulisa to chuckle and remark: "You've gone too far!".
Reflecting later in the Bush Telegraph, Tulisa mused: "I think until Barry learns his way around the jungle a bit more, I'll be keeping an eye on him because we don't want to lose him out there, it's a dangerous place."
Barry's lack of orientation may stem from him not having engaged in a Bushtucker trial yet, sparing him from venturing far from base camp. Meanwhile, hosts Ant and Dec have playfully poked fun at Barry's sight struggles to the audience, often jesting: "Barry needs glasses! He cannae see man!".
I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX
