ITV Love Island stars 'squared up to each other' as furious row broke out

Two Love Island stars had to be separated by their fellow Islanders during an intense altercation, according to new reports.

Luca Bish, 25, and Scott Thomas, 36, engaged in a fiery exchange of words after Scott became enraged over a comment Luca made over bombshell Tina Stinnes, 29.

Although the confrontation reportedly did not escalate to physical violence, Luca and Scott were said to have been squaring up and confronting each other aggressively, reports the Mirror.

Their co-stars intervened to defuse the situation, which meant that producers did not need to step in. An insider disclosed to The Sun: "It all came to a head on Friday night. Luca said something about Tina that Scott didn't like and it all kicked off. After the others broke it up, the tension continued all night and a few more cross words were shared."

Tina entered as a bombshell earlier in the month, capturing the attention of both Luca and Scott. She ultimately chose Scott leading to India Reynolds brutal exit from the show.

Following the choice, Luca was visibly distressed, causing concern among viewers after he was seen crying outside the villa. Kaz approached Luca to see how he was coping. He confessed to her: "It's India's night, there's no point in me sitting here being upset."

During the same chat, Catherine questioned him, saying: "You basically said none of us were your type!" Later on, Luca asserted that he felt "not bad" about not having a preference for anyone.

Shortly after, Ekin-Su and Curtis were spotted walking over to a visibly upset Luca. When Ekin-Su inquired whether he was crying, he admitted it, saying: "Just don't know what I'm doing here." Though drying his tears, Luca asserted: "I'm fine, honestly."

In a reflective moment during a confessional, he mused: "Tina picking Scott; I think your emotions get the better of you." He shared with viewers his rollercoaster journey on the show: "You have peaks and troughs [in here]."

While chatting with the Islanders, including Ekin-Su, Luca spoke about how things have changed since he first joined Love Island in 2022. After the villa, his relationship with Gemma Owen didn't last.

Luca expressed his feelings to his co-stars: "I just want something," and confessed: "Head's running wild." Meanwhile, Scott offered comfort, assuring him that more Islanders would be entering the villa and telling him: "Your dream girl is on her way."

Later on, Tina approached Luca to explain her decision, saying: "It was gonna be you and then I had one conversation with Scott just before and that was all in my head [...] I'd still like to talk to you." Luca responded: "I've got amazing people and amazing friends here, it's just you want that ... y'know."
